Interested in communes / land projects / interpendence / prepping

I spend the warmer half of the year working on backcountry trails in the national parks. The colder half varies: hunting, reading, building, looking for answers to existential questions. Trying to skill up and have something to offer to the tribe. Traveling!

Hopes for the future include homesteading a piece of land, or living aboard a prepped sailboat and sea-steading along the north coast, or some combination of the two.

I’ve hitchhiked a lot around the western states but the last couple years have seen me buying a lot more petrol for my pickup. I built a camper for it and like having a little home wherever I go. I do miss the raw potential of hitchhiking though.

Would love to meet anarchists, punks, and likeminded folks in the area or passing thru.
