once i was a child of the road, now i'm a man of the streets. in my 20s and 30s i did a whole lot of thumbing around and bumming around; now i live in bedlam by the bay. i'm glad to see that there's still good strong youthful energy on the roads and the rails. -- it's changed some, but the basic basicness of it remains and is good.
