Now that I have COVID, I can speak on it. Stop calling COVID the flu. The flu never made my head feel weird and slowed down my thinking. The flu has made me too tired to think, but never affected my thinking. COVID brain is real, and some people are getting long term/ permanently damaged from it. The flu doesn't give you brain damage!

So I've talked about anti-vaxxers, people that "don't see color", and flat earthers in slab city. Also be aware that misogyny in Slab City is very real. There are a lot of people that will be ready to deny it, because a lot of the better camps are run by women, but Slab City isn't immune to any social ills. There is misogyny here.

I love seeing Halloween decorations! Everyone does what they can, and you don't have to go "all out" to impress me. I just like seeing people be creative! I like the funny decorations, honestly! Undead strip clubs and shit are my jam!
