Potter county, pa. Real wilderness. Long stretches of mountain roads though. Yellowstone or Jackson hole wy. Cody wy is cool too.

the Kerrville Folk Festival is pretty cool to check out at least once, its in kerrville tx on I10, you can work there and they feed you, you can camp free, you get a certain amount of free booze, you get into the shows there for free, the campsites at night is a raging fuckin party everywhere, and its 18 days long, starts in june, check it out online, just google it or some shit, im sure yould have fun, its kind hippyish, but it has the capacity to be fuckin bad ass, try to get on garbage or ice crew, there is most certainly other kids there..........check it out dude.....uh its not in the states but Montreal is pretty cool too, fuck 6th street in austin, thats a good place to go to jail.......anywho, safe travels!!!

its weird so many hate cheyenne the bus to walmart is 75 cents or something rediculuously low and ive never made less then 60 bucks an hour there and the cops never said a word so i like cheyene

places untouched by people, places with cobblestone streets, "forbidden" places, beaches during sunset and sunrise and when it's raining, haight ashbury- i don't know just dig the place... natural bodies of water, northern california

Deep into any of the national forests, you'll find silence. I like that.
I also enjoy the large, loud, polluted cities, though.

ojai, ca is chill. love venice beach and haight. good art. the canals r cool in venice and theres a good drum circle there on weekends. new mexico has a chill art scene at least when i was there. checked out the flood tunnels in vegas under the strip after someone i met was telling me about it, that was an interesting experience. met some cool ppl from down there who lived in the tunnels. they made bank going to the casinos and takin change ppl left in slots.

I absolutely loved crescent city! many places in colorado. I spent a week in hollywood and had a horrible time. But i cant wait to spend more time in north cali. and for some reason pennsylvania stands out to me. just neat forests while wandering along the highway mostly. highway 1 up the west coast has some amazing spots. those are the places in americas states that stand out the most from past experiences.

I love Humboldt, Cali . . . but seriously, watch out for the cops. Especially in Eureka. QUOTE]

I didnt read this before. fuck I spent two nights in the field right beside the cop station. it seemed safe and hidden. Neat town though but lots of rowdy college kids. North of there is amazing!

CARHENGE!!!!

www.carhenge.com

Proving that even Nebraska has something worth seeing.

BTW hitching there will be hell.

on I40 goin west out of amarillo, a few miles out there is some sort of knock off carhenge.

theres also a mysterious sign off one of the exits to bumbfuck egypt that reads "Bates motel" . hitchcock ppl. yea.

cool shit.,

Amarillo is kewl. My buddy got robbed there by 5 black dudes in the city. Neat town though. Got weed there and some food. Easy to find sleep. Can't sleep
Under bridges in city limits. Left some gear under a bridge over 287 I think it might have been

pensacola florida. 2 vegan restaurants with alot of punks that hang out there, two bars have drink and drown so 4 nights out of the week its all you can drink for 6 bucks and one of them is a vegan restaurant, theres a radical bookstore with books for prisoners, theres hobo beach which is a chill place to sleep and have big ass bonfires and ive NEVER seen a cop out there. tons of abandoned buildings you can squat and theres some pretty good fly spots where you can make atleast 100 a day.and its easy as fuck to hop out. i grew up in pensacola and have been coming in and out for the past 4 years and have never seen a bull and no workers give a shit.

its weird so many hate cheyenne the bus to walmart is 75 cents or something rediculuously low and ive never made less then 60 bucks an hour there and the cops never said a word so i like cheyene
Fuck yeah cheyenne! When we hopped into there from Marysville, KS this time, we literally made 20 bucks as soon as we sat down at the Kum&Go. Then there was the Chili cookoff, and the badass Mission thingy there, that HOOked us the fuck up! There's not much going on there, it's a quiet little capital, but there is a shit-ton of money to be made there, super nice folks, and almost zero cop interation to be made. So all the Cheyenne haters out there, should go in for a re-review.

Pittsburgh's Southside can be great, particularly around lunchtime. After dinner, things start going downhill as all the idot college kids from Pitt come in and get trashed. Lots of cool little stores, one of the only head shops in town that I know of, and an REI on the other end of Carson street. If you're passing through, I know some tracks run through there. You can also take a bus (51C) into Oakland (Pitt Campus), Bloomfield and the Strip District. The Strip rocks for fresh food of all varieties, and getting murdered if you're out too late. Bloomfield and Southside are definately my favorite neighborhoods in Pittsburgh! Shadyside and Station Square are overpriced yuppie and frat boy hangouts, respectively.

Glenwood Springs, CO is pretty chill. They have free hot springs if you can find em. they were all flooded when i was there so i never got around to seeing them.

i am guessing that you got your car fixed in iowa? what way are you heading? rosswell NM is cool, check out the ufo museum. santa fe and taos nm are cool too.

First- I didn't realize there was a lane with cars next to me. Second- one way street.
I'm a kid from a really small country town... can you tell? xD

Yeah, my cars fixed. I'm in Oregon. Oh! I totally forgot about Roswell! I've wanted to go there ever since I was a little kid. Thanks for mentioning it! :D
