I'm in Albert Lea for maybe a couple weeks. Never been here before to be honest and I'm having a hard time finding refuge here. Pretty sure I'm the only crust punk traveler in this whole place. Could be a good thing! Anyone ever been through? If so, what did you do and where did you go for shelter and refuge? Don't let me drown in the land of 10,000 lakes!

You'd be way better off hitching up i-35 into the twin cities.

I have hitched through there a couple times to the northern woods. I just tented in the woods and made bank off the people coming to do their shopping in their crazy mall. I would recommend getting on the 35 like Sammie said and getting back to the twin cities so you can hop out or just generally do more things. If you want to go north brainerd is a fun little town I recommend, there is a small punk community there. I am a Minnesotan native and almost always skip that town. Leech lake is close but it's kind of a tourist trap

Thanks guys. So far I made good camp at this place along the lake called Blazing Star Trail. Nice friendly people here. Spange game is hella sick.
