I'll keep it simple and stick to jackets & hats since most of my clothes are D.I.Y.
I have recycled 'patches' since high school, dye them to keep the color fresh when (if) placed on newer material, removed 99% spikes/studs, and washed them all when I got housed up (oh, boo hoo there go my crust points). Everything is hand stiched.

Damn, those are some bad ass Hoodies / vests! Here's one I've been very lazy about putting together, but I'm going to try and finish it soon.

Glad this thread was resurrected. Here's the winter coat I've had for three of four years. Some of the patches were made by me or friends and some were found in thrift stores. I've been known to doodle on the coat when I get bored and a few other people have left their mark on it. The patches I get the most comments on are my Redwood City Police patch (from a thrift store) and my US Embassy Baghdad patch (cut from a thrift store T shirt). What's funny is that because of the patches, I've met someone who was arrested by the Redwood City police and someone who guarded the US Embassy in Baghdad. Both of them thought my patches were cool and neither of them kicked my ass. :)

This is the same vest i posted about 8 months ago, it's been through a hell of a lot and got some pretty cool new patches! It's actually going on FIVE years old in a couple days so i'm very excited about that! I love this thing with a passion, lol Also basically everything on this is traded for or made diy, I don't get buying patches for the most part, unless you're buying them straight from a band or from a collective you're trying to support or s/t.

Thats my beloved jacket :)
Still needs an awful lot of work, like spikes (why's that shit so expensive???) And the obligatory ACAB/DaysNDaze/JohnnyHobo patches :p

Also, since I saw @awkwardshelby post, i realised I really want a massive descendants patch on the back of my hood, to have a face on the back of my head. Would be epic, right? I'll give you guys one month before copyrighting the idea ;)
