Maybe you like to cook over open fires, and want to hang your pot on a tripod. Maybe you need to hang something big off of your pack. What you need is a good hook to do the job.

You will need:

• Pliers
• A 1/4 inch thick nail
• A hammer or some other smacky thing

1. Start a fire. You're gonna need a lot of heat.
2. Heat up your nail. It doesn't have to be red hot, but it should throw sparks when you hit it.
3. Take the nail out with the pliers. Keep holding them with said pliers.
4. Begin bending the nail. Put it on a 45 degree angle with the ground and hit it until it isn't hot anymore.
5. repeat steps 2-4 until you have a hook. Cool in water.
