Carrying a cat into buildings

I'm looking for some advice on how to hide my cat when I need to charge my phone and power boxes. Also, I want to go get a few books from the library every once in awhile.

I was looking at a pet carrier that is black and barely transparent.

Guess I just load her on catnip and hope she's quiet ?

i put mine on my shoulders never had anyone complain.
never had a cat carrier mostly I think buisness worry extra with larger animals that could hurt someone but your local library or wherever your charging may feel differntly.

I've seen cats in libraries and grocery stores before. I guess it just depends on the employees and how well-behaved the cat is.

I seen a person a few weeks ago that had a cat carrier that was fabric and mesh. It had straps like a backpack and they were walking with their cat. Something like that may be an option. Also, sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission. Just walk in.
