Hello there!
I've read some article written a couple years ago that sometimes or even usually when you try to hitchhike in countries somewhat to the east and within Pakistan (actually any Asian country with high level of poverty - India, Bangladesh) people can expect from you sharing some money for a ride. The same goes with some countries in S. America.
Is it true? Or at least to what extend? Or at least, should I tell people (just to be sure) anytime they stop by that I look mostly for charity ride with them?
I prepare for a couple months of hobo journey through Asia later in 2023 and I try to gather as much info as possible.
Thanks in advance!
