Does anyone here prefer kit and tools made from natural materials over manmade industrial stuff? Stuff like stone knives, buckskin clothes, woven backpacks or bone sewing tools - or anything else.
I enjoy basket making and especially natural fiber work. I find knitting to be one of the best road activities of all time, and you can even sell small items. It's just so light weight. But as far as gear, modern just has so many advantages. I've always been a fan of the intersection if function and form, and some times things like stone knives lean more on the side of fashion than function.
