Trying to get out of ohio

Any tips for dealing with the turnpike? Been walking alot lately needing a ride and in a truckstop area for 2 days now with no luck. Anyone had decent luck lately near toledo?

Working on that. May just try to get a bicycle lol hitching just ain't what it use to be

Check out the adventure cycling website for a map of all the major bike trails in the US. There's plenty that go across and through the whole country. The bikepacking section of this site is a great source of information too.

From ohio myself. You can find rides if you're out in the hills, but the big cities are about impossible to catch a ride out of. Columbus especially -- with how spread out it is, it feels like there's no community identity, no honor to be maintained by giving people a ride. Everyone's so alienated up there. Sad to see, but difficult to break from. I'd try to spange a greyhound ticket probably. Had a rough time even getting food from a food bank up there.
