That's pretty cool! Id leave the door open before Id cut a bunch of holes in it tho. If it rains, and your sleeping bag gets wet, your screwed. Try to keep it light as possible. Id hate to be the guy draggin that thing up a mountain.

I have no idea. I mean don't let me discourage you. I'm sure you can pull it off if your commited. Physically, its quite a challenge to pedal a bike from Salt Lake to az. Bang it out bro! Id love to see the blog.
