Sights along the east coast suggestions (rva, nola, jax)

Traveling through some of these cities for the first time, and i want to see all the awesome (free/cheap) sights available. Really want to see the under belly of these cities. interesting stores, city parks, freight related sights, abandoned buildings, etc. Looking for info on Richmond VA, Jacksonville FL, and New Orleans LA. Also going to Philly, NYC, and Boston. Thanks.

i seen you got a board in yer picture...gotta hit up FDR in philly and Kona in Jacksonville...... there's some threads on here that mention stuff in a few of these cities... i remember the one about richmond has a whole bunch of stuff...use the search box thing...... bell isle is a nice spot in richmond, really neat park type area right on the river
