Yo so if you guys ever have any worn out long johns you can make a badass neck gaiter/headband out of them.
The thing I got on in my profile pic is made of some really old merino wool leggings with a blown out crotch/knees. I just cut them about a foot from the waistband so they look like booty shorts and then stiched the down the middle so you end up with two tubes. You just fold them into eachother and bam you got yourself a sick neck gaiter and saved yourself $40 . The elastic is nice from the waistband is really nice to have, it stays on tight and will keep you pretty damn warm since it's folded and has two layers of fabric.
