So previously we had a system that placed a user title below your user name that was assigned based on how many posts you've made on the message board:

This system has now been changed to reflect how many 'likes' you've received instead of posts you've made. I've done this to encourage people to post quality content over quantity of content. The user title ladder has changed as well:

So if you're noticing a new title under your name than what you previously had, it's because of this change. It's a small cosmetic change, but I think this will work better in the long run. Remember to check the help section to see how user titles work!

We need to have a titles for negative ratings as well for people that have more negative ratings than positive ratings. Grand Theft Auto had the same thing on GTA Vice City And GTA San Andreas for the criminal rating. For every cheat you used you lost 10 points towards your "Criminal Rating" This is how it could work. User "train core" has 30 positive ratings and 10 negative ratings therefor his score is 20, you catch my drift? Every negative rating is minus 1 point while every positive rating is plus 1 point. Off course considering how everybody gives out more positive ratings than negative ratings nobody should really dip into the negatives, unless of course they are really getting on peoples nerves. Its more just a humor thing really haha

we do not have the ability to do this due to limitations in the forum software; specifically, the ability to assign user titles to users based on dislikes. we only have the ability to use likes, so unfortunately it's just not possible.

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $50.00 of $50.00 - reached!
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $70.75 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $70.75 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $70.75 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.

I'mma cut to the chase: You don't call me what I consider to be a slur or insult, and I won't call you names.
You say I should love myself and have more self-confidence. You've got it all wrong. I love myself plenty, and I know for a fact that I am capable of doing incredible things, both good and evil.
You say fake it till you make it. I'm too honest for that. Instead I will have faith in myself, and act accordingly.
These new rules for the train riding forum are ridiculous. I've been on here for 5 ish years.

I read your story last month about working in Alaska. I got a job in Naknek this summer. Definitely can get how it felt like jail. I fear it's really going to feel that way with this virus. We can't go into town. I'm not very happy about that since it will limit my exploring. Yet I really need the opportunity right now. Anymore advice is much appreciated.
Anyone been to Thailand or know anything about Thailand? Going in September and have absolutely no plans yet, open to suggestions!

I did some really important tweaking of the navigation menu on StP today. It should be significantly easier for mobile users to get around :)
Anyone in Chicago?!? Just rolled into town, next stop Minneapolis
