Hey guys! I recently went exploring through (what appears to be) a store/house. After rummaging through some old stuff left behind it appears that the last time this home was occupied was during the 70s/80s (we figured this from the furniture and an old can of spray-on deodorant). It’s really neat, hope y’all enjoy!

^pictures above showcase the entrance. Entering the door above you’re greeted with what appears to be an old store. See photo down below.

As you can see, there’s shelves that line both sidewalls of the building. Continuing through the doorway shown above leads you to an extremely small porch, connecting both buildings together.

Moving past the porch, you’re welcomed to the living room portion of the home. See below.

The furniture looks pretty retro to me. If anybody has a good guess to what year they’re produced, that’d be awesome! Thanks!

Notice that creepy cross on the right-most wall in the image? Yeah, it’s scribbled onto the wood with crayons. Probably one of the coolest pictures on my phone.

Moving on with the tour, the doorway pictured behind the dusty old mattress leads to the this humble little kitchen below.

Moving on, the back of the house has a cool pink bedroom with a crowded bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.

Now the last room in the house is this weird long skinny room that I didn’t really care about, as the floor was extremely rotted and weak.

I used to live in Pensacola, FL, spent quite a bit a time exploring old houses like this! Love it. IE "Super Fund" sites.

Yeah, very rickety. I almost fell through the floor in one of the rooms haha. It’s hard to tell in the images, but there are somewhat recent pieces of trash laying about, doubt they stayed any longer than a couple nights lol

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $25.00 of $50.00
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $25.00 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $25.00 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $25.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.

My Anarchist's Guide to Travel came in today, six days early! I know it's not anything major, but I feel like I'm finally making progress towards getting myself out and traveling.

Now I just have to make sure I don't forget about my book review (which I wrote in my spare time) because I was too busy plowing through this. 😬

EDIT: It also came with a message from Matt and an awesome StP sticker that I didn't notice at first! Thank you!!
