IF THE APP IS NOT WORKING FOR YOU, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR DEVICE, WHETHER IT'S IPHONE/ANDROID, OS VERSION (I.E. iOS 9, ANDROID 4.4), APP VERSION, AND WEATHER YOU'RE ON STOCK OR CUSTOM ROM (ANDROID ONLY). THANK YOU!

Hey folks, we finally have our apps approved in the itunes and google play stores, so i'm looking for people that want to update and test the new apps. here are the download links:

Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tapatalk.squattheplanetcom

iOS (aka iPhone/iPad):
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/squat-the-planet/id1154384588?ls=1&mt=8

Just curious to see what user's experiences are like, and specifically if you see any ads while using the app.

thanks!

installed on Android phone just now and will install on Nexus 7 later for the full experience - first impressions good - nice intro screen when you open the app - easy to navigate and understand...... will report back after a proper fiddle with it.....

ive noticed (on android at least) that if you go into settings and turn on the dark theme it looks a lot like the black/green design we have on the desktop version of the site :)

Well that's another thing...I just got 2 notifications one from the app other from the forum but yes it's not showing on the forum that I've already read the notification in the app

Sent from my iPad using the Squat the Planet mobile app!
it might take a minute to sync up. and if you're using the mobile app i would probably suggest turning off email notifications on the desktop version of the website.

@Matt Derrick , it's likely this one. ^^^

It was on an introduction thread posted by a new user, Benjamin.
ah, okay, well, i don't have an iOS device to test on, but when i tap on it in the android app, i get the option to open the link with chrome, the stp app, or a few other apps. tapping on the stp app does in fact take you to the app's home page instead of the link. i'm still signed in though.

i know why this is occurring, but unfortunately there isn't anything i can do to fix it. i'll try and put in a feature suggestion on the tapatalk forums (people who make the app) though. fortunately this issue only affects a small handful of links. the majority (98% or so) should work fine.

my only advice for the time being is if this happens to you (a link takes you nowhere) try opening the link with your mobile web browser instead of the stp mobile app.

I'm an Android user. I get a network error every time I try to launch the app, while it's trying to connect to the server.

Support StP!

Donations go towards paying our monthly server fees, adding new features to the website, and occasionally putting a burrito in Matt's mouth.

Total amount
$105.00
Goal
$100.00

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $50.00 of $50.00 - reached!
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $75.00 of $75.00 - reached!
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $100.00 of $100.00 - reached!
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $105.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.

Okay so imagine a band comprised of a snail, a dragon, a doggo, and a ratto called Crackhouse Crevice. You can catch the free show on an eastbound IM from Yuma.
@dumpsternavel will be making snacks with some tuna from a pouch and the crumbs of a 10 piece chicken nugget bag.

Hey thanks for the recent uploads to the library, looks like useful stuff!
Nearly done with the electrical system of the van. 170Ah Lithium ion, 2/4K inverter, 400 watt of solar, 40A MPPT controller. Should be up and running (or explode) this weekend.

After that I have to finish the primary work table, which will be the last big piece of the build.
