It seems like everytime i post something there is a notice with a little blue crest/shield thing saying that the post is not visible until moderator approval. Is this a new norm or are there other specific reasons for i happening? I dont like it. Not that all postings are time sensitive but some things could be like a post in the untrustworthy people thread. Or couldnt the timeline get screwed up? Like are every single posts going through this filtering? Thats seems like a huge waste of time.

Yea, i dunno. I just poated two other things that didnt seem ti have the same "hold" so maybe some threads have different sensitivities...? But yea. Thanks :) If youve read this thats a good sign for sure. Ha

It is possible my posts were both in the untrustworthy people section. So that makes sense.

I think all the posts in the untrustworthy ppl need mod approval for good reason. Other than that what threads are you talking about in specific? I ask because I haven’t had this problem
@NotmybestNotmyworst NotSoSirius is correct. The Untrustworthy forum is regulated so that it doesn't turn into a shit talking fest.

That being said only posts that contribute information will be approved.

Yes, the untrustworthy section is the only forum area that currently requires moderator approval to prevent it from becoming a place where folks can just sling shit on one another without any kind of proof. Also, it's not a place for people to voice their opinions on a situation posted there if it does not directly involve them, so posts that don't contribute information about the situation related to the thread or just 'here's my opinion' posts maybe not be approved and be deleted without notice.

This is clearly stated in the forum area description.

If you have posts disappearing in any other section, that would definitely not be correct, and you should definitely let us know.

Support StP!

Donations go towards paying our monthly server fees, adding new features to the website, and occasionally putting a burrito in Matt's mouth.

Total amount
$7.77
Goal
$100.00

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $7.77 of $50.00
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $7.77 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $7.77 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $7.77 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.
