2 years ago, I discovered this site when I decided that I want to pursue a dream of retiring and spending my days traveling and exploring the world. In order for that to happen I had to get rid of all my stuff and sell my house.
I'm pleased to say, I have finally completed that task. Over the last several months, I've been cleaning out my house and getting rid of about 90% of what I own. I sold some stuff, donated a lot of stuff, gave away even more stuff, and threw out the rest. This past Friday, the closing on my house took place. I am now living in a apartment in a cute little village in western Massachusetts.

I still have 1 more year to go until I can start my travels. During this year, I'll be winding down my business as I approach retirement. I'll be weeding through the stuff I have left and getting rid of even more stuff. My goal is to get my accumulation down to just a few boxes which I'll stash in a friend's basement.
I'm now in between 2 lives. My current life of home ownership and a business owner is winding down as I look to my future life of being an explorer.

My hope is that the vaccine for COVID will be effective and it will be safe to travel again. I'm so sadden by the US's response to the virus and the 100's of thousands of people who have died because of stupidity and incredible selfishness. It didn't have to happen.
We sell all kinds of other stuff in our Etsy store!

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $10.00 of $50.00
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $10.00 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully this will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $10.00 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $10.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.
