Seeking a few people to join me in a small community. Very subsistence style living. In early stages but has great potential.

Well I'm just getting started. I am open to any questions. The site is within walking distance of downtown. Approximately 10 miles. Plenty of clean water year round. Access in and out severely limited in winter months. No guerilla gardens planted yet.

Hoping to get some fruit trees planted as well. Don't want to give too many details in open forum.

To be up front the area in which this is located is a stealth spot. So things have to be planted in random areas. No big fires, the less smoke the better. No shelters built in open areas, ect.

I would be happy to share my experiences and knowledge. Always trying to learn as well, so let's talk.
Yeah. I'm open of talking and all that. I have some experiences and knowledge to share too and willing to learn new things that interest me... I traveled the states for two years from 2015 to 2017 visiting and living at different intentional communities here and there hoping to meet new people and see new places. It ultimately didn't work out though because I was just simply going to the wrong places and meeting the wrong kind of people... Either way, I lived at a "survival" school in Wisconsin which I learn some things there and I lived at farm community in Missouri in the Ozarks. Learn a decent amount of things there too... I just don't have fond memories of those places because they weren't for me and the people were not very good to me.

I have been traveling/squatting/camping since I was a little kid. I am an anarchist at heart, in that I do not believe that any one person should have power over another. In our community there is no hierarchy. Everyone does their own thing to contribute and are all valued equally.

That's very cool. I only became an anarchist by heart until around 2009-2010. That was a rough transition for me because of the people that were around me. Still are to a certain extent... I don't believe in controlling other people or anything really in any shape or form. I'm a egalitarian. I believe in people living in small groups like a family or tribe and taking care of each other and helping each other.

Support StP!

Donations go towards paying our monthly server fees, adding new features to the website, and occasionally putting a burrito in Matt's mouth.

Total amount
$55.00
Goal
$100.00

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $50.00 of $50.00 - reached!
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $55.00 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $55.00 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $55.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.

It takes forever to do profiles via smartphone.. I'll fill this out on a laptop later.. me and my wife, Straps, recently moved from NC to central Ohio and are looking for like minded folks. Oldschool punk and metal etc is our tastes but not limited to. She does Vocals as well as I.. I also play bass. And am currently working on a demo. Think serial killer true crime punk.. not 'horror punk'.. true horror, yes.
