What is it about quartzsite that makes it a desirable place to be? I know there's a large gathering of snowbirds in january but I don't see why it appeals to so many traveling kids at least from what I've been reading on here. I'll be heading that way around that time but won't make it that far south

The appeal is that there is I think 7 gem shows in 3 months including the worlds largest gem show appealing to thousands from accross the globe. There is work and free camping all winter long as well as the rtr build camp whare van dwellers gather to help build teach and tell stories ect ect. and the skoolie nation skoolipalooza gathering of school bus conversions owners. I own one skoolie and have owned 3 busses and one van been hitch hiking from the age of 15 I'm 29 now. I like rocks people have work there already bc my brother has a rock jewelry/ cutting shop I have interst in the rtr and skoolipalooza meeting as well. Iv never been to any of them.

Also, thank you for the reply but my situation has changed. I will try to edit this post as well. But my mother has broke her leg and I'm staying at her place to help her until further notice.

Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
