#3: If you want to find a boat, try some local resources. Craigslist, forums, hanging out at marinas, making sacrifices to Chthulu...

ye sorry, hi my name is nancy... no sorry its steve. dunno what to say tbh, ive made it to 45 trying to live the "normal" life but all i want to do is travel, work as i go. ime ex hm forces and a good engineer/mechanic. just need a cheap boat

Find the local marinas, and talk to people with boats for sale. Just offer them whatever you can afford, and one will likely give it to you for cheap just to stop paying slip fees.

You could also try trading mechanic work for a boat. Especially if you're a diesel mechanic. Boat engines need work and maintenance constantly.

Check the free section on Craigslist. Sometimes people just give away their boats after realizing how much work owning it actually is.
