So I finally broke down and got a j.o.b. after 4 months of travel. Anybody ever driven the Amish before? Seems like a pretty easy job. Pick em up, take em to work, and sit around getting paid til they're done....

They’ll let you borrow their buggys? Do they have GPS?Will you be ticketed for using your cell phone whilst operating a horse? Driving Miss Daisy?

Apparently they need transportation to and from work gigs in ohio. I'll know more about it tomorrow after my first pickup.

This gig is terrible 😆 so far I've drove around picking up a bunch of Amish, taken a 3 hour nap, hunted for wild edibles, and ate a bag of popcorn.

That's funny considering I just saw one of them drive the rest of them back to work after lunch using a tank tread dump.

Are you sticking with the gig? Is the money decent? I'm personally really good at driving and sitting around
Money is decent for this area.it does get boring at times so boring in fact I'm actually thinking about asking them if I can help out stacking timbers. The scenery is like watching a movie from a bygone era . As long as I get to save up for more traveling I will continue working this j.o.b. . I should probably use my time more wisely and learn an instrument.

Support StP!

Donations go towards paying our monthly server fees, adding new features to the website, and occasionally putting a burrito in Matt's mouth.

Total amount
$45.00
Goal
$100.00

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $45.00 of $50.00
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $45.00 of $75.00
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $45.00 of $100.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $45.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.
