    Absolutely. I did mine on a super small budget and practically lived out of hiker boxes and any scraps friends and other hikers could give to me. As long as you’re able to keep yourself fed and comfortable being frugal then yes, you absolutely can do it cheap

    That road down from Onion Valley though 😍 that whole area around Bishop/Lone Pine was unreal, I’ll never forget that. This is why I love the community so much, thanks for sharing guys

    Actually you don’t need to mail yourself many resupply packages. I only shipped myself like 5 or 6 and only in towns that A) don’t have a store or a lot of options, B) the town is known to be insanely expensive, or C) I was shipping specific gear I needed for an upcoming section - like my bear...
