alright folks, so we technically only have two nights during the jambo to show movies, and i'm trying to keep the length of each movie night reasonable so we can move on to partying. so i think we'll do a double-feature each night.
right now we have:
shelter - a squatumentary (45 minutes)...
i just remembered, there's a documentary on squatting by hannah dobbz called 'shelter'. i've never seen it, but i'd buy a copy to show folks at the jambo.
there's a movie theater here in austin called the alamo drafthouse theater, and i used to work there a few years back. one of my favorite things about their movie showings was that before the movie instead of playing ads they'd just show like 20-30 bizarre or funny youtube videos that were along...
still sad about matt even though i didn't know him well (he seemed so young though?) but that's cool you're picking up the movie thing in his wake (first i've heard of it, but i'm glad you are), and i love the title, that's awesome.

worst case scenario, i can borrow a projector from my work as long as i bring it back when i return to austin.
For those that weren't around last year, we had a short movie presentation at the Slab City outdoor theater. We only showed one short film, but it was fun getting everyone together to do so. I was thinking maybe we could do an expanded version of that this year, where we show travel related...
