last time you were in relationship?

The thing about people with less than desirable physical attributes is that they're usually willing to work harder for a piece of tail, because they don't know when they'll get an other one. And, If you both work at it, it's gonna be a lot more fun. It takes two to tango right?

    Best Places in British Columbia

French hill is in Osoyoos, but I don't think that you want to go there, I was in the area last summer and apparently you'll get fined 200$ If you head up there. The thing is that the locals got fed up with the grass fires, and garbage, and on that note I got a few sideways glances just for...

Yeah, you see that crap in Alberta every once in a while, too.

    Motorized biking

I knew a guy that tried this. He left Vancouver, BC and made it a little passed Hope, BC(around 100 miles) when the motor seized. That said, he didn't break the motor in at all. He just put it together, hit the highway, and pinned it.

News & Blogs Fuck kids, take care of your shit!

This reminds me of something a watched a few months ago. It's fucked up what some people will do to themselves... It's like heroin, but much, much worse... It's a bunch of different pharmaceuticals mixed together with gasoline.

Its time for the END of capitalism! No poor, no rich, just sharing resources...

I think that money, and capitalism are symptoms of the problem, rather than the cause.

Discriminated against for having using General Delivery?

Good thread topic. I was thinking of ordering some stuff online soon, and I was wondering if using GD would work. It's not surprising that it didn't work though, most companies want you to fill in the blanks with an actual address, but it doesn't mean that you have to physically live there. When...

WTF am I doing with my life...

Hmm, well then, it looks like a few people out there, are fucking lost... Yeah, I'm having a similar internal discussion too. I'm looking at seriously altering my life's path here, within the next year. Wandering is one way to look for a solution, in a society that... Does not support many...

How to...keep cool (not how to be cool)

Try to avoid air conditioning, and instead Seek shade, and drink lots of water. Its easier to handle the heat if you warm up slowly over the day. Rather than going from hot to cold repeatedly.

    Canadian Hitchhiking Laws

Hey, here is a link to the hitchhiking section of "fight your tickets".ca. it looks like the page hasn't been updated since Jan 2010, but the site is still active, and the hitchhiking page has links to the applicable government websites, and they're about as current as you would need...

    Video Planet earth is you.

Hey I don't know if anyone has come across this one yet, I don't see it here so I figured I'd post it. I suspect that it'll find some receptive minds here. Just a warning there is some graphic content, but sadly... It's part of the story.

Having a family member who is mentally ill...

Oh trust me I know that it can be terrifying to witness that kind of stuff. Yes, internalization, poor coping mechanisms, and a lack of compassion definitely have a role to play in how most people react to, well, the less fortunate in general. But an other thing, and the simplest way to put this...

    Hennessy Hammock

This thread looks a little stale, but I have a Hennessy expedition, and I probably won't buy an other one. They work well enough, but there are less expensive options that work well enough. A while back there was some good info on the forum about making your own hammock for like $20. You could...

Having a family member who is mentally ill...

mi, sounds like they were just in the wrong headspace for the movie. Unfortunately mental illness is a complicated issue, and a lot of people can't wrap their heads around it. They just kind of take reality for granted.

    Hey

Hey there, I've been lurking around the site on and off for a few years. Even had an other profile, mittens. The name was lame but, it was chosen in honour of a fallen comrade. She was black, and had white paws. I've chosen this new name in honour of my fucking neighbours. They really...

    Reverse Karma

I agree whole heatedly with everything that Johnny said. PersonIy, have always thought of karma as a mindset, rather than an actual cause and effect based, omnipotent, mythological force that guides our lives. It sounds like the most important lesson that you should take away from that...

Having a family member who is mentally ill...

Hey eske karl, I find myself in a similar boat. I agree, it's hard... My mother fights everything, her treatment, her family, herself... tooth and nail. The "icing on the cake" is that she is a trained psych-nurse, so she knows all the tricks. Thankfully she has been relatively stable over the...

    Going hitching, vancouver to alaska(hopefully)

There is a lot of beautiful country up there. Good luck man, that is going to be one long trip. But it'll be worth it. I've only been as far north as fort Nelson and the scenery is pretty spectacular. To me it almost looked like the surveyors put effort into staging vistas on that road. That...

You know once you are far enough north an axe might show that you are prepared. But south of probably Prince George, I would keep it well hidden.
