nows the time to drive long and far. gas is cheap. roads are empty. hard to take a dump anywhere in a public toilet. no drinking fountains on. parks are closed. showers on the beaches have the water turned off. should be changing soon though..free wifi and charging been a little difficult...
i currently live in my van but have the equipment to not have my van. i like driving and i prefer having a car because i can go wherever whenever. however, its not hard for me to leave it parked somewhere then dip out without it. when i leave it i don't leave valuables so if it does get broken...

i ride a ktm 525 (basically a dirt bike) and go camping a bit with it, but nothing long term usually like a night. I pack a backpack like I would go on a hiking trip, with ultra light equipment. crazy what you can fit in a backpack now days. of course your bike and my bike are very different...

ive driven that coast line a couple times now and there is soooooo much to see. impossible in one day but that means ya gotta go back. tons of sweet spots to pull off and wander around. plenty of empty beaches and cliff sides. if you pull up to a populated beach just drive a couple minutes north...

Hello,
I wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I am currently located in Utah, and was referred to the forum from my brother (although he is not a member). As I've browsed the forum so far, I want to say thank you for everyone and their knowledge and willingness to share.
