    Slab city facts

The slabs are an amazing place to visit. The wife and I spent our first night meeting new people at the range. Cornelius was then wonderful enough to let a bunch of us binge watch Rick and morty at the library. Met a lot of awesome people, my neighbor while I was there was a nice guy named...

    Recommended Brands for Packs

I'm a big fan of the maxpedition riftcore. Great size for freight hopping if needed and attachment points for expansion. It's a bit pricey, but it's been a great bag. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HH3M31Q/

I wanna drift around for a bit

That's a great area! Not super friendly to drifters but I've never been overly hassled either. It's a bit colder than where I am, I'm about 4 hours south of there on 101

I love the west coast. I home hum it up during the winter in Oregon.

Should I get a pack with an external frame?

Internal frames are okay, but they hurt my back after a while. If you go for an internal, make sure it has decent kidney padding and a waist belt

Should I get a pack with an external frame?

External packs are the way to go to be honest. Unless you're freight hopping.

Veganism and what it can mean for you!

I have teeth designed to only shred meat and my eyes are located in the front of my skull.... Humans are predators. We only evolved to this point from a high fat diet, humans biologically need fat for proper cognitive functions. I'm going to happily eat my fried chicken now.

    The traveling chef

That wholeheartedly depends on where I'm working. Currently... Nothing lol. Just rolled back into this town and am looking at a Mexican inspired seafood house. For myself personally, it's either traditional Italian or American comfort food.

    The traveling chef

The wife is doing well. I'm currently throwing the idea of leaving the RV behind for a while and us hitchhiking.... Somewhere. She's pretty against it currently but I think she'll come along soon. I'm not sure where we're heading, we just got here from the slabs. Need rv repairs if we drive...

    The traveling chef

Hello all! I'm John, I'm currently on the coast of Oregon in a leaky class c with my wife waiting on the new adventure. We've been recently forced into the Vagabond way of life due to some unforseen personal circumstances. I'm not new to this but the wife is pretty green, she's holding up quite...
