You misunderstood. My friend does not squat. He lives in this neighborhood and during a hike was just pointing out to me the many vacant buildings and the ones which were being squatted.

I've used Ketochow for PCT treks. I use it as a supplement breaking camp and setting up camp or if I start camp late, to avoid having to cook. It delivers a lot of calories for not much weight.

FWIW, I avoid big cities these days, but back when I used to camp in large metro areas, I would wait for business hours to conclude and then I'd climb up tot he roofs of businesses that were closed and sleep peacefully until sun-up. Never got caught.
