Every question has pretty much already been asked. There's no real reason for anyone to ever post. Even new members that might want to get in on a topic, their questions and answers have probably already been asked and given by someone else.
Forums are dying anyway. Everyone is over at reddit...
Truck stops are always cool, but inconveniently located usually
I'm currently staying in an old abandoned looking steak n shake parking lot inside of a Walmart parking lot. Been here every night for a couple weeks, not a peep from anyone
In a pinch, I like huge sprawling apartment complexes...
I'm on my 4th minivan. 1 chevy astrovan, 2 dodge caravans and now a mercury Monterey.
I like the caravans the best, especially the way the seats fold down.. Best thing about a minivan is how invisible you are. Cops don't pay attention as you drive by in a mommy missile. No one notices you at...
I'm on my 2nd dodge caravan. These motherfuckers Will. Not Die. I used to be the type to not give a shit about brands, but I'm sold on dodge. Sold my first caravan with 275,000 miles on it and it was still chugging right along.
I'm not sure if their toughness carries over to full size dodge...
I'm celibate as in I put no effort into getting laid. Not as a lifestyle choice or for any actual reason.
I'm currently bombing around in a van by myself. Almost never talk to anyone (outside of social pleasantries), let alone try and flirt and get into a womans pants.
I fucks with metro pcs. $50 a month gets you truly unlimited Wi-Fi.
I watch Netflix and YouTube videos, use a doordash app and Google maps all day, and have never had my internet speed throttled the way boost mobile did.
I've tried both. I need a van in my life. I needed to be able to get a temp job and know I have a way of getting there. I need a place to sleep.
And now that you can doordash in any city within minutes, with same day pay... Forget about it... I have more money and freedom now than I have at...
I'm on my second mini van. Not ideal. Not even as cool as a full size van as far as comfort goes..
But my thing is stealth. A dodge caravan might as well be invisible. Can park anywhere and look like a fuckin soccer mom.
When mushroom hunting in the PNW we never messed with national parks. But national forest were perfect. Dogs are allowed. Much more remote feeling. Plenty of logging roads to follow. And with cuts to their budgets the park rangers are few and far between.
Another idea is to camp along the PCT...
Bumping an old thread I know. But..
When I walked the Washington section of the pct for a month it was fuckin rad. Every day was an adventure. Same with mushroom hunting for profit in Idaho/Washington. Every day I was climbing and moving thru a forest. I could live a life moving around the PNW...
Of course no one cares. Just like if an old guy gets beat to death in New Orleans, no one would lose any sleep.
I've never had a group of old vets get in my face, trying to intimidate me, humiliate me etc..But it's happened a couple of times with groups of dirty kids.
