New to the site and am blown away by the amazing resources and community on this site.
Currently living in midwest hellhole. Needing to head out to the pnw again soon. Spent a few years in Washington and loved it, miss it.
Haven't actually had the guts to travel like y'all although I've wanted to for years, I iust figured it wasn't practical or safe for me. But fuck that noise tbh. I have decided to say fuck it to what is conventionally acceptable, fuck it to my anxiety, and finally honor myself enough to choose what is right for me.
I'm so grateful for the resources on this site and am definitely diving in to educate myself. Any tips for a first time traveler would be much appreciated, I don't know shit so far but I'm trying to prep.
Other things about me:
-I'm a big fat lesbian, very into queer politics
-Amateur herbalist
-Currently working shitty job part time and finished college health care course
-currently obsessed with baking bread
-learning stick n poke is literally my dream (someday...)
Look forward to getting to know some of you more. Please feel free to drop any recommendations or tips
