Welcome to STP. Sorry your relationship is not in a favorable state - but if you decide to be free and travel - go read some of the stories here, the DIY section - and other subforums that may contain some inspiration. :) Good luck!

Thanks Karol and Art 101, its taken me a long time to realize this but ive finally woken up. Life is to short to stay with people who make us unhappy. Ive tried to tough it out for the sake of my child I have with her but he is not benefiting from seeing his mom yell and scream at his dad all the time.

I need to stay close to him no matter what I do, but being mobile is a necessity because she has familly in southern California and will probably go there at some point.

Ive got an old Suburban im working on to live in that way I can be as close to my child as I can but far enough away from her and able to move incase she takes off.

Im wondering the best way to set up my rig for living, but with out having it loaded with things that make it look that way. My thought being that I could make money hauling stuff or giving rides if it lookes like no one is living in it.

My back was busted in a car wreck and ive got arthritis in my hands so that ads some complexities to what im doing but Im determined to make this work.
