Now im housed up in a suite for three days. Two bedroom, two different direction facing balconies, pet friendly, and a kitchen. Thank god for CAA coverage. Smartest thing ive done in months. Covers 600$ worth of lodging and food for 72 hours from "incident". That being my truck being inoperable. This doesnt fix the problem but holy fuck do i need this.
Holed up in the shop property for the third day. Fried 6 eggs and made some toast for myself and my dog. Something to spice up the dog kibble life. Poured myself the cheap rum and rootbeer drink. Buddy from the insurance/license place brought me some ice But there is no sunshine and rainbows. This is survival. This isnt intagram. It was dark and frustrating and cramped, with that side of lonely. Tomorrow we move.
Almost died a fiery horrific death when the wiring crossed an shorted in the camper, had to jump in the water to save my dog from drowning when a current was pulling him under roots and branches (one of the most heartwrenching experiences of my life), and i fucked the engine in my truck on the mountain highways. Repairs are going to be expensive and take long. Thats kindof how my summer is going. Beats jail but just barely
I like the natural world so anything i can learn about wild edibles and farming is awesome. I have alot of other outdoor survival skills. I want to be able to be dropped off in the middle of nowhere and make my way back to civilization at my own pace... or at least not be killed by my own ignorance.
Two lessons i (re)learned today. Fuck other peoples directions (they always seem to think youve been there before too) my gut is a better compass.... always pump your own gas so the only dumbass kid losing your gas cap is you (yes ive done it to myself aswell)
was in the USA for all of 20 minutes today, hahaha. Went to the duty free shop in Sault Saint Marie and was told to buy beer i had to be crossing the border. So fuck it, i went. (Weapons, alcohol restrictions on probation) so i didnt fuck around. Got some gas and Charcoal took a shit in the Michigan welcome park in the rain and back to Canada we came
Now i now i can still get in though. I could tell the Canadian border patrol hated me. Fuck you booth bitch. Hahahaa. Peas
After some serious roadblocks i am about to be on the open road again. With Charcoal of course. In my blue 96 chevy and even older box camper in search of plug ins and showers we roll. Taking a quick trip to Winnipeg, leaving Thunder bay on the 26th then down Toronto way sometime after that. Hit me up if you know youre gonna be on the way. Cheers.
My parole is over February 17. I will still have probation for like two and a half years after that where my probation officer is gonna try to tell me where i can and cannot live and monitor it. Ive got to play their fucking game and it will possibly drive me insane.
