I see people bike the Oregon coast all the time during summer and fall. Just watch out for dumb drivers. Cyclers don't get much space on the road, plus all those sharp turns. But you sure do get some great views =)

I was supposed to initially leave Anchorage and end up in Austin, somehow I ended up in Tacoma. When you hit WA drop us line. Maybe I'll join you on the bike ride north.
I was going to hike the AT for a bit but the weather looks much nicer west, however I'll go anywhere that isn't Cleveland lol
i might put some StP shit on the back burner so i can have more time to study and get a real job (that i can travel with).

@Brother X for sure man, i'd love to pick your brain about it. have you ever worked on upwork/odesk?
    Brother X
    Brother X
Yeah, I get all my work through Upwork (formerly oDesk), eLance (Upwork affiliated now), guru.com, dice.com, weworkremotely and Craigslist . Also, it helps to cultivate a LinkedIn profile and friend recruiters and let them know you're looking for contract work. I get 10-20 offers a month from recruiters I've met on LinkedIn and cybercoders.com.

Do you already have skills? LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP), Wordpress , Drupal. HTML5, JQuery, AngularJS, General IT principles, Photoshop /web image optimization and SEO are all skills in steady demand. It helps to know Git too. http://codecademy.com is one place to learn for free. Also. http://appacademy.io offers classes that you don't have to start paying for until you're employed.
Wow I've been kinda bummed out and not motivated to do anything since the bus fell through.

I hitched a ride from a guy once who was an interstate vehicle transporter. He had a 3 car trailer driving around country. His advice...make sure you see vehicle before purchase. We picked up a truck that wasn't worth freight:(

You also should have a mechanic check it out unless you have mechanical skills. A lot of people try to fuck you over. Hope you did not lose any money man, even if they did waste your time.

Hey Matt thanks for the tips I lived in Austin from 2008 to 2014 and met so many travelers there and that's how I got to travel with gypsies. What would you consider to be the best way to get out of Florida with low cost? Would love to head back to Austin to see friends and then head to Cali and then to Oregon

hitchhiking is generally the cheapest way to get around.
Almost done with a new website design that will be cleaner, faster, and (hopefully) work better on mobile devices.

Hey warlo! Yes, I saw your submission and I think it's pretty rad! Which picture did you want to use for the cover image? I need to do a little bit of text formatting before making it public, but I'll try and get that done today (I've been super busy).

Hey man, just wanted to give you a heads up, the sites is having issues on mobile and i cant even log in on my one phone. If i can give a hand at all shoot me a line im a QA and mobile dev.
would you consider making the website in an option of black on white instead of white on black? i mean to say the website would have a button where you would invert the black and white color scheme. maybe it's asking too much or may cause glitches but...i like a white background with black text. it makes reading easier...
