there used to be an abonded prison and the mill house but prison got torn down and the mill house is turning into apartments. Downtown might still have some small buildings to explore but mostly its a pretty dead spot for all that. If yer still in town next weekend i might could buy ya a drink or somethin. Always interested in meetin folks from StP.

Right ooooon. Yeah I would have loved to have seen tha prison, too bad. I’ve traversed all over downtown for climbable shit and things to break into. Not a lot goin on -_-
I’m a little on the busy//stressed side with my bullshit job and replenishing all my supplies before I get going on the 13th. ((Lost everything I had before moving here)) but maybe we can meet up Friday sometime ?

i work 6am to 4pm on fridays and cant stay out late. like, 10pm is past bed time these days. But id be down to hang fer bit this friday, PM me and we cant set up the details.
torn and conflicted in so many i cant see up anymore. The road calls, but knee is fucked and man, that shit dont seem sustainable for long. school sounds cool but debt is terrifying, housed up but no where feels like home. Drunk and freaked out on the east coast.
Post ACL reconstruction. Surgery is not fun, it'll all be worth it if I can get back to doing trail work tho.

Ouch! Condolences (first)... 2nd I've had a few good friends who've had such - do the physical therapy! It makes all the difference. Won't be "the same as before"... But my friends (who did therapy) were very able to do as strenuous of careers as they did before. More cautiously, mind you, but they did get back at it! So you have a VERY good shot at getting back to trail work! :) *Best Wishes on recovery*

My crew leader in Cali has torn ligaments in both her knees and can still hike a 10mile log out no problem. So I'm hopeful I can recover and go back to work.
    Thanks for the good vibes~

Hopefully none of that extreme Santeria. Like the old witches out of matamoros back in the 80s. How long were you quiet

Hey, go up on the Blue Ridge Parkway and hang out, there are lots of great places. go downtown and get some free maps of the sites and doings around the area. The folk art center is free and a great place to visit. Just goofing around down town can be lots of fun too, lots to see and interesting people. Go to the French Broad River park and get wet! Have fun.

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $50.00 of $50.00 - reached!
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $75.00 of $75.00 - reached!
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $100.00 of $100.00 - reached!
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $100.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.
