Got mugged...off by the pavement, and my own boots, of all the silly things!! (Just to be clear, NO ACTUAL MUGGING!)
Nooo, no one - Mugged Off by the pavement and my boots! Just edited the caption to reinforce that! The pavement mugged me off, if you get me ;) It`s once again my own silly actions & just me to blame ... Is `mugged off` just a Brit term..? Meaning to be made a fool of!

Never tripped over shoelaces. But once I was rushing across the street with friends at red light wearing broken shoes, one was held together with tape in the front. There was snow slush on the streets and the tape got loose and I tripped over my falling apart shoe and fell down. Luckily I did not hurt myself but I was almost run over by a police car coming around the corner, lol.

That is a series of unfortunate shoes, it`s like .. I know this PROBABLY isn`t good, but fuck it! Wow, might have been some questioning after that one!

Somehow I'm a shoe killer, lol. I don't like wearing heavy shoes, so I normally stick to canvas shoes, lightweight sneakers or alike. And since I normally get them used they never hold long on the streets.

You mean by police? No, they just hooted and drove off.

I wore only once boots the whole time traveling. Those were really good and I liked them cause they were already worn in by me years ago. Actually my old army boots I had to wear during my 10 months army service (was mandatory those days here). Very comfortable and in mint condition (almost, as it turned out).

Unfortunately since they were about 20 years old the material between the soles and the boots crumbled and the soles seperated after a few days of walking. I could have had them resoled by a cobbler but that would have been quite expensive and I had no money except some change. So I put them next to a bin, in the hope that someone would see the value of those boots and have them repaired. Too good to end up in the trash.

Monthly Goals

  1. Paying the Bills
    $50.00 of $50.00 - reached!
The first $50 in donations go towards paying our monthly server fees and adding new features to the website. Once this goal is reached, we'll see about feeding Matt that burrito.
  2. Buy Matt a Beer
    $75.00 of $75.00 - reached!
Now that we have the bills paid for this month, let's give Matt a hearty thank you by buying him a drink for all the hard work he's done for StP. Hopefully his will help keep him from going insane after a long day of squishing website bugs.
  3. Feed Matt a Burrito
    $100.00 of $100.00 - reached!
Now that the bills are paid and Matt has a beer in his hand, how about showing him your love by rewarding all his hard work with a big fat burrito to put in his mouth. This will keep him alive while programming new features for the website.
  4. Finance the Shopping Cart
    $100.00 of $200.00
Now that the bills are paid and Matt is fed, perhaps it's time to start planning for those twilight years under the bridge... if only he had that golden shopping cart all the oogles are bragging about these days.
