Interestingly enough - at least 5 yrs ago - my street had a bigger traveler groups go through and as I when I walked out to go to work via bus - on the city garbage can was a bunch of "hobo" signs. Took pic and analyzed them - took a bit - as there is not one hobo code - but many and some old...

Very cool and enjoy your travels. I also admin a dirtykid facebook group that houses a couch list and I have a very cool guy in denver who is an awesome host and loves the traveling company. Give me a shout back when you get there and if you have need of a couch.
